By day, Paullett is a university professor, teaching argumentation, composition & rhetoric, technical/business writing, creative writing, and literature. She enjoys spending time in the places that inspire her stories. While some travel is for work, most travel is for story research to get a sense of the land, the culture, the people, and the history.
Her hobbies beyond writing include butterfly and pollinator gardening, orchid rescuing, exotic plant collecting, classic car showing, drag racing, motorbike cruising, powerlifting & bodybuilding, music performing, and feathered and furry children raising.
